Camping and fun in the Harz National Park
At this point, campers and guests will find all the important information concerning our campsite and the public outdoor pool in Lonau. Camper, Biker, Short- or long-term visitors and residents enjoy here the most beautiful days of the year in the national park Harz.
The campsite offers good manageable next to the heated swimming pool, a forest-friendly and above all – ever gear for parents – Children's area.
Sufficient existing level lawns and a cozy kiosk with beer garden provide plenty of variety.
Parking facilities for cars, Motorcycles, Tents, Caravans and motorhomes.
Of course, can also be rented as season here Caravans- or permanent sites. A 'road’ lost on the bike tent can be quickly replaced on the Mietweg here. We are always there for our guests and try to make your stay at the campsite Lonau as pleasant as possible.

The campsite is beautifully embedded in Mariental, directly on the banks of Lonau, surrounded by forests and mountains. Despite the peaceful surroundings, it is only a few minutes walk to the location Lonau or. just 4km to the town of Herzberg. A more accurate picture can be found on our page 'How to find us’ make.
Location and surroundings
Der Ort Lonau, now a district of the town Herzberg am Harz, is a quiet outlying from busy roads and surrounded by mixed forest patch of earth in the middle of the Harz National Park. Lonau considered to be the haven for every holiday maker and especially as a paradise for children. Walkers found here as well as mountain bikers well-maintained hiking- and cycling.
Attractions, our guests find not only in the village but also in many neighboring towns in the Harz. So ist z.B. the largest European capercaillie Schaugehege only a few minutes walk from the campsite. You can quickly reach the mini-golf course located right in town.
Other attractions such as e.g.. the above 950 Years old Welftenschloß in Herzberg, the Unicorn Cave in Scharzfeld or the summer toboggan run in Sankt Andreas Berg are within a few minutes by car, To achieve motorcycle or bike. Appropriate advice, we are happy to offer on-site!
